Bee Movie Game

True achievements
21 April 2008
  • Conclusion: Achievements: There's many different types of these, like pollinate of flowers at different areas, reach the location or do stuff without getting a scratch or hit, some easy starters like hovering in new hive city or drive your first car, kill enemies, do all the jobs or get all the badges. Well, Around 10 hours, less or more for the 1000 / 100%. Mostly a game for kids, but an average game for teenagers or adults too. ~ StoodBridge.

Bee Movie Game (Xbox 360)

ccgr.org
19 April 2008
  • Excerpt: I’m going to try my hardest not to make any obvious jokes here, but it’s not easy when the absurd amount of possible jokes are the only remarkable thing about a game. It’s based on a movie that didn’t do very well with the critics, was only a moderate success, and failed to ever get past the feeling of “Hi, I’m Jerry Seinfeld, and I’m in this movie. Scratch that, I AM THIS MOVIE!
  • Pros: Diverse gameplay modes, narration throughout
  • Cons: Weak structuring, overreliance on Quick Time Events, sub-par graphics

The Bee Movie Game

The Gamers Temple
18 April 2008
  • Excerpt: Bee advised, you will bee bee-sieged with a bevy of bee-related jokes and puns in this game. If you're young enough to bee driven to fits of laughter when you hear jokes that involve bees getting straight B's at Bee U, then you may find that this is your kind of game. If you're not, then, well, this game is probably not for you. It's not just a matter of the game's level of humor; the gameplay is pretty simple stuff as well.

The Bee Movie Game

Digital Chumps

  • Conclusion: For the common gamer, this is a typical movie licensed game, but it does have an attitude to it that upswings the value to good rather than bad. For $49.99, it might be best to avoid, but if the movie was great and your child loves it, it might be okay. Just take into consideration the controls before you buy though. If they’ve played the 360 enough then it should be fine, but if they haven’t… well… I’ll leave that up to you.

Bee Movie Game

xboxachievements.com
27 January 2008
  • Conclusion: Games which are based on movies never tend to light up the gaming world, and the Bee Movie Game unfortunately follows this trend. If you’re looking for something different then the ever-present first person shooter in your collection, you might want to give this game a shot. The colourful graphics style brings something different to the Xbox 360 system much as Viva Pinata did and will certainly appeal to the younger audience; your kids are bound to love this game.

Test: Bee Movie Game

xboxfront.de
20 May 2008
  • Summary: Wie bei so vielen Animationsstreifen, bekommt auch die Dreamworks Animations Produktion „Bee Movie – Der Honigkomplott“ eine Umsetzung als Videospiel spendiert.

  • Cons: Steuerung manchmal recht ungenau, Kaum echte Herausforderung, Innenumgebungen steril
