Summary: This is a decently fun game, but if you played the newer titles it will just feel like it is missing something. The story lines also get a little monotonous, which is too bad because I usually enjoy the story mode. I do like how responsive the AI is. They don't sit around waiting to be shot like in other games, and will give you a fight.
Summary: The gameplay is quite smooth. However, flying the helicopter and shooting rockets at the same time is tough. I tried to past air force one with like 3 chapters left. I had to just put it down I couldn't do it. Good luck gold ringers.
Summary: I bought this game because I like to start at the beginning of a franchise and although this game is probably considered old hat, it's still worth buying in my opinion. I didn't play the multi-player so this will be a campaign only review. The good: 1. Big maps, long missions, destructible terrain. 2. You get to drive ATV's, tankers, helios, boats and even golf carts. 3.
Summary: I only purchased this game recently (Dec.2012) as I needed some titles that did not require internet access. Most of the newer FPS games focus mostly on multiplayer, which is a continuing trend in the industry. This has benefits, such as the incredible multiplayer experience of Battlefield 3, one of the best video games that I have ever played. It also has some downsides, as the single player experience becomes relatively degraded.
Summary: This is a great game in its own right, with 24-player online matches, fully destructible environments, and a full range of land, sea, & air vehicles in very large maps. All of these things are very impressive for a console, but may be nothing too exciting for fans.
