Did not meet my expectations

Regina, Amazon
17 May 2013
  • Summary: Drums are very hard to hear, microphone is touchy, kind of flimsy stand. Thought the fam would be jamming to some tunes in the basement. So much trouble to get all the pieces working together it has barely been used.

rotten drum cord

CoffeeCat "Kelly Winter", Amazon
10 January 2013
  • Summary: It is really fun to play, regardless of the fact that the drum peddle cord was falling apart from the second it came out of the box. It was leaving rubber residue all over the wood floor so I had to get a carpet for the drums to sit on so not to have a mess tracked through the house. Within a week the cord broke away from the peddle rendering it useless. I have already ordered a new one. I've got my fingers crossed that the next one is not so bad.

Guitar hero pop version.

C. Fletcher, Amazon
28 December 2011
  • Summary: I purchased band hero for Amazon for $7.99 how can you beat that price for a guitar hero/band hero game. My wife likes the pop songs that we play on guitar hero and rock band so i picked this game up so that we could play together and she would not have to worry about trying to play "through the fire and flames" or something really difficult. This is a game of mostly pop songs but there are some classic rock songs on here as well to help even the game out.

Good equipment. Game is eh...

dballs442, Ebay
7 March 2011
  • Summary: If you do a little research you will find the buttons for the guitar strum bar are different in the World Tour guitar than the Band Hero guitar. The Band Hero guitar uses the old style buttons like in the Les Paul Guitar Hero 3 guitars. and the World Tour had a different style button. I personally liked the World Tour guitars a little better. But the BH guitar strum bar and start button are rubber which is nice.

OLD UNOPENED PRODUCT

lordbigdog, Ebay
1 February 2011
  • Summary: The product was unopened but definitely not new. Still in it's original packaging but the box was faded and the plastic coating on the wires has already crumbled off, dry rotted. The product does "work" but I doubt it will last long. It is as if it was left in a warehouse for a couple of years or perhaps inventory in a business loss or foreclosure, sold by the insurance/bank in an attempt to recoup a loss, although clearly not listed as such.

Great deal, okay game, bad cable on bass pedal

Doug, rakuten
12 January 2011
  • Summary: Got a great deal on this (under three Andrew Jacksons). Guitar is better than the GH3 guitar. Game isn't as good as some of the other Guitar Hero games but it is still better than any Rock Band game I have played. Only issue was that the cable on the bass drum pedal fell apart shortly after it was unpacked. Buy.com agent says that this happens very often. Buy.com will replace the item within 45 days of purchase and pay for it to ship, but they have to have it in stock.

Fun for the price

Omar, rakuten
9 December 2010
  • Summary: I enjoy my Band Hero set, but the hardware definitely has problems. One of my drumsticks broke on the first time using it, and my drum bass pedal cord also fell apart, but the game and the instruments seem to work fine, and I've had a blast playing with my roommates. Hard to ask for more for the price.

Fun for the Family

Becky, rakuten
8 December 2010
  • Summary: I was worried the free shipping would take too long, but it came in 7 days and I received it just in time to pull it out for Thanksgiving at my house! I had family come from multiple states, and my mom, sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, kids, and husband all had a blast playing Band Hero together. I love how it works with Guitar Hero, and Rock band software so there were plenty of songs to play.

Band Hero-Really

avrahamp989, Ebay
30 August 2010
  • Summary: Band Hero is yet another game in the Guitar Hero series. It's a peak in the mainstream direction the game took in last years. Therefore, the songs and the whole atmosphere of the game is more likley to match to more casual gamers rather then the hardcore fans of the series or heavy rock fans. The songs are likeable, but no very hard even on expert. Likewise, their not very fun to play on your on since there is no really a challenge.
