"BIG MARCUS", Amazon

  • Summary: My boys are 6 & 8. They played this game for hours the moment they put it in the Xbox! Very colorful and very good game play. Easy to setup your players and the player control is simple and responsive. The various fields are a huge bonus. I highly recommend this great game!!

Reminds Me of the Good ol' Days

THE-DEADLY-DOG "Live Long and Prosper", Amazon
2 July 2012
  • Summary: I remember playing Backyard Football on the computer during early 2000s and remember being floored away and having the time of my life. Well this game brings back those memories x 5 and more importantly has high replay value. Absolutely must scoop this up if your children like football, you are looking for something child-looking and cute, or are trying to relive the memories of the good ol' days of Backyard Football.

Surprisingly Good

  • Summary: This game may not look too great. The visuals kind or seem... not that good. Plus the game is aimed towards kids. But underneath those things, lies a pretty good game of football. There are a decent amount of modes, and playing with friends is chaotic fun. The graphics are supposed to be like a cartoon, so they look alright. The sound is good, even if the commentary does get repetitive. But the power-ups and fun game-play make this game pretty good.

  • Summary: I am a HUGE backyard sports fan. but this one wasn't so good. lets start with the good things. you can play as any NFL team you want. there is great variety of players to choose from. from NFL superstars to the original backyard sports kids (Pablo Sanchez, Pete wheeler etc). there is a decent number of fields to choose from to. the bad things. the graphics suck! the AI is way too weak. controls are a piece of cake .

Good for kids or casual gamer

Charles A. Gates II, Amazon
28 December 2009
  • Summary: This game uses less players which makes scoring alot easier. This game has less controls and less players on the field which makes for an easier game to play for those of us who don't spend many hours in front the video games on a weekly basis. This game has it's own non realistic aspect too of power ups that make players flip or appear out of no where to intercept a pass. Still this game is fun to play.

It's fun, and cute.

Advanced Arcade "Advanced Arcade", Amazon
10 November 2009
  • Summary: Can't find a review anywhere for this game so here I go writing one. First off, the game is fun. In a weird way it reminds me of the old arcade game NFL Blitz. A lot of cheesy fun, power ups, and a simple play selection. The graphics are cartoony but passable. There are some "Glitches" when it shows replays and sometimes the announcer will call an incomplete pass when you really did catch the ball.
