Summary: Fantastic game. Lot of fun learning how to best play the different characters on the battlefield. My only complaint is with the match-making system. I'm constantly being dropped into matches that are either nearly over or put on teams with people who just stand there. Drives me nuts. I don't mind playing with bad players, I just hate playing with people who start a game, then apparently de cide to take a break in the middle of the match to go get a soda or something.
Summary: Another entry into the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre popular on PC Awesomenauts’ see’s two teams of three online players competing against each other with the ultimate aim of destroying the oppositions base. I've never played a MOBA game before so can’t make any comparisons to similar titles but I found myself getting bored of Awesomenauts’ very quickly.
Summary: Steam was once having a steam sale for Fable: The Lost Chapters. Quite recently actually. After I purchased it, I had $10 dollars left to spend. I browsed for an hour looking for a game, and found only a few games that even appealed to me. So i just chose Awesomenauts, as I couldn't have cared less. I thought it would be one of those games that I would play once or twice and then never tou ch again. I played it for more than 15 hours in 2 days.
Summary: To be honest it is not a bad game, game-play is fun, responsive and brings you back for more. But, now here is where the game completely falls off. There are quite a few "awesomenauts" i find very OP (overpowered). Not only are they OP, but there are also badly designed maps which have blind spots which these nauts can kill you from with no effort or skill involved.
Summary: This game is a blast. I've spent over a hundred hours on it and counting. The community isn't poisoned, the new content updates are frequent, and the developers are very good at responding to feedback. The game takes the fun of LoL and DOTA and leaves 80% of the awful stuff behind. For $10, you could not whine about it being a waste of money. To me, Awesomenauts is one of the best indie ga mes ever made.
Summary: Whatever you may find appealing about this game at first glance, let me assure you now that Awesomenauts does and will provide for your needs, and from personal experience, goes above and beyond. This game is a fresh unique game with a ton of personality and quite a bit of innovation for a MOBA type game. It has a fair skill curve that makes it easy to pick up early on, and it's a ton of f un to play regardless of how good you are.
Summary: I really don't understand this game. Not only does it have the worst visual art style but gameplay is absolutely attrocious. A platformer where you shoot stuff but with more flash and other pointless stuff. If you think this game is any good you really need help. Either play a real game or if you just want an arcade platformer then even Mario 64 will do a better job. Awesomenauts is anythi ng but awesome.
Summary: Well worth 10 dollars, there's gonna be a bunch more free skins on the way from what I understand if anyone was interested in that. This game is a 2D platformer moba without the a-holes from those games, I swear playing dota 2 changed me into an evil person almost, but holy crap this game is so laid back and fun, it's still competitive but fun. To me, getting kills isn't nearly as sa tisfying as getting them in dota 2 but the over all game play just feel so slick.
Summary: A very fun little game, especially for the price. I also appreciate the local multiplayer support, which is rare in modern games. Definitely take a look at the demo, even if you haven't played a MOBA before. Unfortunately their publisher has hit a rough spot, so support for this game might be lacking on Xbox while the PC continues to get new characters and balance updates. Hope they sort t hat out. Still a good game as-is though.
