Summary: Assault Heroes is a X-Box 360 Arcade Title which drops you (And a buddy if you have one available next to you or online) literally out of a ship into a warzone. You drive a 4 wheeled assault vehicle, and with several weapons and powerups at your disposal, set out to save the world, or something. Everything you encounter is out to get you, and if your vehicle takes enough damage you will be temporarily forced on foot where you are extremely vulnerable.
Conclusion: Probably the best action-arcade title to drop since Geometry Wars, this is worth a look even if you just grab the demo. I got the demo and when I heard it was co-op I bought it and forced a friend to do the same. When they blow up your Jeep(they will) you end up on foot instead of dead, really cool. This setup allows you to get into smaller area's you couldn't reach with a 4x4, and also adds a little more urgency 2 the situation.
Summary: Fun at first and the price is right but lacks the style, control and elegance of a Japanese shooter rendering it nothing more than a throwaway after a few hours. A bit like going for sushi at 7Eleven when you could be having it prepared for you by a sushi chef at a Japanese restaurant.
Summary: One of the most enjoyable - and most innovative - shooters I've played in a long time. Its 2-player co-op gameplay makes it an instant classic. The fact that it's only 800 Microsoft Points makes it just that much sweeter.
