Summary: Let me start by saying, I do not personally play this game. I tried. I died. However, I have two sons. They felt this was a game they HAD to have. I can't say if I was paying attention when they asked, or not. But they insist I agreed to purchase it. I should have considered all options and possible outcomes first.
Summary: I really enjoyed this installment of the Assassin's Creed series. I was fishing through some old games recently, when I realized I had never finished AC2. As I was coming to the end of that game, I only then understood that Brotherhood and Revelations were direct sequels. Once I finished the story I had to get Brotherhood. The game does a great job picking up where the last game left off.
Summary: This game picks up right after AC 2. And in my opinion I could flip a coin as to which one is better. It is 1.A and 1.B for me, and I would be happy with either or as 1A. With that being said, the assassin recruiting is fun, and watching the assassins you chose for your brotherhood grow is really nice. Watching Claudia grow from a bratty stuck up, to an.... well you will see for yourself. And Ezio, by acclimation our favorite Assassin grow as well.
Summary: I admit it. I used the internet to help finish certain pieces of this... But let's be clear. Starting with Assassin's Creed 2, this and Mass Effect is easily the best series on the XBOX. Add in Drake's Uncharted for the PS3 and you have the best of the best of both platforms. Here's what I like: The storyline rocks, the technology, the mysterious otherworld elements, the history lesson, and the dive into my own past. yep.
Summary: Great change of pace from the sports game. Keeps the husband occupied on cold, snowy afternoons when there's not much else to do. Keep an eye on prices and you can generally get better prices online vs the big box stores.
