A vast improvement and a wonder of a game

Kyle N., Amazon

  • Summary: Assassin's Creed II is a vastly superior game to Assassin's Creed. Whereas the original game still had a good story (though one that could have been much better than it was), it's gameplay was repetitive, frustrating, and often boring. It had great premises and the core idea of the game was sound. It just needed a lot more development and polish.

Best Assassin's Creed!

B. Cossaboon, Amazon

  • Summary: I have a confession to make, this was my first Assassin's Creed game. And if you want to get into the series, this is an excellent game to start at. There are so many improvements between this game and the first one. for one thing you can swim! Ezio is an easy character to fall in love with, and the time period is perfect for an assassin story. Like I said before, if you want to fall in love with this series play this game.

Fixes everything that was wrong in the first game. Is epic and amazing as well.

  • Summary: Ubisoft really looked at the problems people had with the original Assassin's Creed and fixed them to make an epic masterpiece of a sequel. The Story: - So it picks up at the end of Assassin's Creed, Lucy and you (Desmond) escape Abstergo and go to Lucy's safehouse. There she has another Animus that Desmond is to use to obtain assassin skills via the "bleeding effect" by going back down Desmond's DNA, this time as Ezio Auditore in a Renaissance Italy.

Assassin's Creed

  • Summary: I have been looking forward to this release for a long time. While I was a fan of the first Assassin's Creed, the original game felt sort of unfinished. The concept was there, but the game felt like it hadn't been fully fleshed out. The game was beautiful but repetitive, fun overall, but you can only pickpocket or eavesdrop on someone so many times before it gets boring. This game fixes many of those issues.

  • Summary: I never sat down to play a game before; I had watched my husband playing, and I thought that his games were pretty lame, but after buying this game, I held the xbox remote for first time, and I was immerse in the great story line, awesome graphics, and entertaining fixtures.

Pleasantly surprised

  • Summary: Xbox Live recently started their Games for Gold program where they give members a free game every month. This month was Assassin's Creed II, but having never played any games from the series, I decided to give it a try. So far I am about 20 hours into it, doing all of the side quests that I can find along with the main story. The gameplay is fun and addictive. I love the open world feel to it. Combat is top-notch, has depth and is a lot of fun as well.
