Summary: I cannot figure out what all the excitement and excellent reviews were about with this game. The story was about something you would expect from Dave Brown (e.g., Templars, Catholics, bad linear puzzles), the graphics were just so-so, and most importantly the game play was abysmal. Many, many controls to learn…but not really. Just chose a couple, stick with them and Ta Da, game over – where is the vaulted combat variety?
Summary: I love the Assassin's Creed franchise and having played all of them from the first this one was VERY disappointing. I feel they have ruined the combat system as having to hold B to then press X to counter and kill a enemy is frustratingly annoying and hard as you have little to no time to press X. The introduction is tedious and way too long.
Summary: AC 3 is a pointless game. It's not a bad game just there is no point to most things. firstly, each mission has optional goals. but since these only seem to count towards a fully completion achievement and have no effect on the game it's pointless trying to do them. your not punished if you fail and no leveling up if you do complete them. Pointless. firstly (a) also some times you fail an optional task before your even told what the optional task is/are. pointless.
Summary: A game that feels like work rather than fun. Of course work can and should be fun (as much as possible) but the problem with the whole AC franchise and especially this one is that it always feels like they were really trying their best but unfortunately always fails to do anything right. The only exception is maybe the naval warfare from which I am convinced was more of a lucky punch and came in the game by surprise.
Summary: I thoroughly enjoyed all of the AC games before this one, and I truly couldn't wait to play it. Now I wish I hadn't wasted my time doing so, it is so BORING and tedious! I was truly bored to tears. You have to go through several hours of mind-numbing, slow-paced tutorials and mediocre 'missions'. I kept telling myself "it'll get better, it has to get better!", but it DIDN'T.

Summary: I personally love the assassin's creed franchise. They offer great game play and a very interesting story. Well all except for assassin's creed 3 should I say. I found myself wanting the game to end just so I could find out the ending and never play it again. It was a grind to complete this game. Assassin's creed 2 was one of my favourite games of all time and I expected so much more than this.
Summary: What is so good about running and climbing around a medieval city? I bought this game based on very high reviews, but it's just boring; over the years I have really tried to like this game series, but I just don't.. no customisation of character, no monsters to slay, no caves or labyrinths, no array of weapons and skills, so why is it popular? Don't know.
