Summary: I first played AC years ago on my PlayStation 2 and could not get enough of it. Now though unfortunately every AC game I have bought since then has had the same mix of issues. 1) The graphics are poor and their color scheme is perpetually dark and bland 2) The plot make no sense what so ever, no context or character development/investment 3) The customization has really gone down hill, weapons are all the same and bland, AC's are also boring to look at I actually never...
Summary: I'm a huge armored core fan and, somehow, the developers managed to mess everything up about this game. The menus are terrible, the fighting is terrible, and the story line is non-existent. The franchise took a massive step back with this game.
Summary: This in NOT the ARMORED CORE i know! I have played and still have all 3 games from ps1, 7 games from ps2, plus armored core 4, and armored core 4 for answer for xbox 360. (check posted pictures) I don't count armored core V as 1 of 3 for xbox 360/ps3 as i dont consider it to be armored core. It is more like a continuation of the IRRITATINGLY SLOW PACED game chromehounds. The V should have been an arrow pointing down towards the bottom because that's where it belongs.
Summary: The graphics in the trailer are awesome, opposite of the game. There is zero finesse. I'm old school, I still play halo3, and had hoped that this game had evolved to similar or bett level. Graphics are poor, when aiming, you don't have to aim, just fire off into vicinity to score a hit. There are ZERO other players to team up with online. The basis for this game is awesome, the implementation was low budget.
Summary: I've been an Armored Core fan for most of my life. I've been eagerly awaiting this release for almost a year. However, this game marks a significant departure from my previous experience with the Armored Core series. I used to glory in flying around wide open maps and laying waste to my enemies. I loved the epic scale, story, and feel of the games. This iteration forsakes all of the things that I loved about the series.
Summary: I've played the AC series since the origional PS versions. I was waiting for a long time for ACV to release, and pre-ordered as soon as I could. I was expecting something that followed the path allready set out by the pervious AC game sin the series. However I was greatly dissapointed. This title plays nothing like any of its predecessors. The battles load slowly, the game lags, there is no 1 vs. 1 arena system, the mech cannot fly (it wall jumps erratically though).
