Summary: This game is so terrible, they took out what made Armored Core, the one on one battles and the all famous Arena, and single player missions are not as good as they use to be. One of the most disappointments in this game is that you can't fly anymore, along with the other things they did to this game it all but puts the last nail on the coffin.
Summary: I'm a huge armored core fan and, somehow, the developers managed to mess everything up about this game. The menus are terrible, the fighting is terrible, and the story line is non-existent. The franchise took a massive step back with this game.
Summary: This in NOT the ARMORED CORE i know! I have played and still have all 3 games from ps1, 7 games from ps2, plus armored core 4, and armored core 4 for answer for xbox 360. (check posted pictures) I don't count armored core V as 1 of 3 for xbox 360/ps3 as i dont consider it to be armored core. It is more like a continuation of the IRRITATINGLY SLOW PACED game chromehounds. The V should have been an arrow pointing down towards the bottom because that's where it belongs.
Summary: Like I mentioned above, Armored core is not what it used to be it's all about team play know and not single player, and what just puts it over the top for me is that they took flight away from the cores!!!! you get to hoop around like an injured kangaroo know. I'm glad I got it used and even then it's now a coaster on my coffee table.
Summary: I've been an Armored Core fan for years, and have played and enjoyed practically every installment in the series. Needless to say, I was quite excited about the release of another addition. I pre-ordered the game, and picked it up as soon as it came out. I rushed home to try it out, and as I played, my excitement turned to confusion, which turned to disappointment, which turned to seething rage. 3 hours later, I was back at the game store getting a refund.
Summary: I was expecting a strategic, fast-paced, totally customizable experience including using piloting a mech and dueling it out violently with destructable environments, with some kind of strategy to mixing all the parts and choices in a unique, and perhaps rare way. What I got is a game that seems to almost be an extreemly easy platformer, because that is all you can do in this game is jump around in dull, predictable stages and shoot at your enemy with gattling guns until...
Summary: The graphics in the trailer are awesome, opposite of the game. There is zero finesse. I'm old school, I still play halo3, and had hoped that this game had evolved to similar or bett level. Graphics are poor, when aiming, you don't have to aim, just fire off into vicinity to score a hit. There are ZERO other players to team up with online. The basis for this game is awesome, the implementation was low budget.
