Difficult to imagine any human getting pleasure from this game

Summary: This is a game I would have expected to play on Super NES or Sega back in the 90's. The worlds are like playing inside of a poorly drawn AutoCAD drawing, with a noticable lack of detail. The game play will not "draw you in", unless you are drawn in by frustration and repetiveness. I've played the game for hours trying to figure out why they made it in the first place...and I can hoenstly say I still don't know why the large robots are fighting to begin with..
Summary: I had really high hopes for Armored Core 4. i played the arcade Mech at Chuck'e'Cheese, loved it, and thought Armored Cored 4 would just be as good if not better since it's the successor. Granted, it's not the same, but still, what a dissappontment Armored Core 4 turned out to be. i found the game play to be extermely annoying and frustrating and totally suck the fun out of blowing up big bad robots.
Summary: Ok I'm not going to write an in depth review (only played game for 30minutes) just here to write some things I think the other reviewers overlooked.... in-graphics are a joke! For majority of the game I felt like I playing a ps2 title.... its 2010 and I am playing an xbox360 with 1080p output... seriously graphics are a joke in this game? (BUT do note:the cinematic intro to this game is amazing though!) The in-game menus are eh....
Summary: Although the game has been out for a couple years I decided to give it a try. Figuring that 360 graphics and online capability would make this game worth a try, I quickly found the game to be unchanged since it's PS1 days. Armored Core 4's controls, camera angles and the lack of fluidity contributed to it being quickly shelved. The soundtrack was a disaster to say the least and monotonous tone created more anxiety than the suspense they were going for.
Summary: The graphics on this game are decent, but not great. It is apparent that some effort went into designing the buildings, bridges, etc. The real weakness of the game is the lack of a plot. Yes, there is an excellent game intro. Once you start the game you get a nice, if threadbare, plot. Then you start the play the missions, and you get mission briefings that do little to advance the plot. I expected something, anything, to move the story along.
Conclusion: rented this game to c what it was like.....what a waste of £3.50 and 2 days play. combat is boring and dull and very samey.can get very very boring after 1-2 hours play wouldn't recomend this
