okay one

  • Summary: If this game didn't call itself a Gothic game, I would have liked it a lot more. I spent lots of hours playing gothic. The completely open world, the crafting, the story, the game play, the side quests...EVERYTHING about Gothic was literally phenomenal.

  • Summary: This review will be short and to the point. I've enjoyed playing this game,it is a lot of fun although it can be repetitive and, admittedly,it's not as good as I expected after playing the demo.

  • Summary: At the time i'm writing this review, i am still to finish the game, tough it wont take much longer. First thing i would like to say is that they should have called it a Gothic game. This is a superficial rpg, you know, hack'n slash, every quest is resolved by killing everything.

  • Summary: Being a fan of the series, I liked Gothic landscapes and much of the game characters, but the story itself is a bit too thin.Fights are, in my view, much lighter than other games in the series and the character development is pretty linear without major problems.Overall it was a pleasant experience...

Enjoyable RPG, no classic which has bugs.

  • Summary: As a fan of Oblivion and Dragonage it was logical to me to get Arcania. I've also played Two worlds, which for all it's critics I'd enjoyed. Arcania therefore is a mix of these games, you get a complex plot involving treachery and betrayal.

Not an open world...

  • Summary: Gothic 4 is a decent game, but not a great one, its graphics and engine are far better and far more stable than previous entries in the series, although the resolution and detail on the console version is significantly worse than PC.

Not bad for the money

  • Summary: I've not played any of the Gothic series before, but I am a fan of open-world RPG games. Let me be blunt here: Elder Scrolls it is not. It does not have the world scale of something like Oblivion or Skyrim nor the myriad quests, characters and guilds.
