Summary: I really wanted to play these games but the controls just don't transfer over to the xbox 360. it's crazy to think a lesser older system plays these games so well and they weren't able to adapt it to the new system.
The games are good but most don't translate well to an XBox controller

Summary: The collection of Midway classics on the disk is quite good. I am a huge retro gamer and I was really looking forward to this collection. However, there is a serious flaw...and this is not with the game itself. The flaw is that most of these games do not translate well to the Xbox controller. I found playing the games tedious and unauthentic. While some of the games are still fun, the majority I played once or twice and gave up disappointed.
Summary: Its hard to review the games we have played over and over when we were younger. The games play a little too fast due the cpu delta from old machines. But, it is fun to pop in and play for a couple hours.
Summary: Neat selection mode where you can see all the arcade machines and it tells you what year the came out. The graphics are true to the originals, but my kids quickly tired of the experience. It was put away within 15 minutes of opening it. A better rental or loaner.
Summary: Liked that it had more games than expected or have heard of back in the old arcade days. The not so great part is that older games require much more patience with the controls, especially with games you've never played before. The controls on the games I was familiar with seem a little clunky with modern controllers.
Summary: Happened to snag this while it was on sale. Would have bought it for $30 even if it wasn't, but based on my experience, this was meant to be a budget title. The effort put forth by WB games was so feeble, its borderline insulting. Its a real shame.
Pros: all those delisted XBL arcade games are back! on disc this time! lots of great arcade classics with a few obscure ones as well. there's a quasi-free play mode for each game & most have fully fleshed out options to tinker with. There's also a 1-credit challenge for each game used for the leaderboards.
Cons: These midway compilations always feel increasingly half hearted. The old Midway collections had bonus features like interviews. This has nothing & features the same handful of 6 arcade games midway stuffed in their original 'classic' compilations since the Playstation era. Some of the emulation is lazy. 720 would sometimes start with the direction uncalibrated before it would eventually fix itself. Wizard of War also spazzes out and begins to stutter so bad the game a...
