Summary: I got this game soon after the launch of the 360, and its one of the only games I still have from the launch line-up. Its perfect if you enjoy sandbox games that have challenges for you to do over and over. Sadly, this franchise is dead as Indy Built, the company who made it, has gone under. So this is the final installment in what has been a great series of games. Here's hoping the new SSX revives some interest in Snowboarding games.
Summary: I purchased Amped 3 after being disappointed by the last 2 snowboarding games I had played. I bought it used and figured for the price at least it would be something different. My expectations were not too high since Amped 3 is actually older than the previous 2 games I had bought, but I was in for a pleasant surprise.
Summary: This game is alot more realistic than SSX and has an amazing storyline. The areas are based on real mountains and are very open. The best parts are being able to ride a snowmobile at anytime in the game, which makes getting places very easy.If you liked Tony Hawk, than this game is basically the same with the controls and feel.
Conclusion: Amped 3, what a game. I have both Amped and Amped 2, and i am comparing this game to them and to other snowboarding games that are out also. This game was definately unique and really blew me away. I thought this game would be half of what it is. I'm not saying it is a perfect game, is worth checking out for sure. The thing i am pissed about is the fact that this game had no online mode. What is up with that? Is that really generation gaming?
Summary: When Amped 1 first came out on the original xbox, I was blown away and that's really the only reason I purchased xbox. Amped 2 was a step up, and now with the release of the xbox 360 well I'm not 100% satisfied. The original game is in my opinion much better then this one. It's almost like the xbox 360 HD isn't an option when it comes to game play. Little sluggish, graphics are clean but aren't mind blowing.
Summary: If you want a game that really is out there and terribly painful to look at this is it. I have a few words to describe it. FUNNY, cartoonish, Funny, relaxed, Funny, brainless, Funny and Oh it is Funny. The Graphics aren't all about this game it is more the storyline or lack thereof. It is snowboarding...not Tony Hawks Wastelands stuff. Not that tony is not funny...but I think if you don't really care about winning or just want to fool around this game lets you do it.

Summary: Amped 3 is the first snowboarding game to come out for the XBox 360. You get to fly through the snowy slopes in full wide screen high definition. First, it's important to fully accept that this game is made very tongue in cheek. You get cut scenes with drawings almost exactly like Trogdor, you have sequences of 60s-style circles with good/evil George Harrisons urging you on. You get modern alt music mixed in with Blinded By the Light.
