Summary: Now I was a HUUUGE fan of the first America's Army game. I absolutely loved it and with updated graphics that game could beat out cod and bf3 on today's standards, however, True Soldier left a lot to be desired. I disliked it because it didn't feel like a true successor. The hud didn't feel right and it seemed like the spotting system just got in the way also the maps felt incredibly unbalanced.
Summary: Americas Army, True soldiers is just an army simulator. A really bad simulator. I found it very hard just to move my character. Once you stop pulling on the analog stick, your character still keeps moving. Its really hard to get to cover. If you want to look at this game on youtube, you might see a video where it is an army battle. It is very hard, almost impossible to find that mission. I looked everywhere, and I cant find it.
Summary: This game is terrible, I thought that this game was going to be like the original ghost recon games with a US army label on it. I was wrong, I thought that this could be played as a solo game with AI teammates it is not either you play by your self as one person alone fighting the enemy or you can play the missions on line with human team mates.
Summary: This might be the worst game I have ever played in my life! Even with the pistol you can't control your aim, let alone any other weapon. The slightest of trees and twigs stop you in your tracks leaving you vulnerable to anything that is out there. When I first used the sniper I could barely see the cross hairs. Your team mates? What team mates? When you get shot down don't expect them to come help you, all they do is stand there and shoot at nothing.
Summary: Well, to start this off the demo is pretty terrible. So if that's all you've played, the game gets worse. The controls are not fine tuned, you either stay still or run. You can't get reliable friendly AI units, all yours do in a firefight on the second wargame is shoot rocks while you get cut down by the two dozen Opfor surrounding you. And even though YOU brave enemy fire to heal your teamates, they leave you out to dry.
