It really is an excellent game

mr. big, Amazon
10 May 2014
  • Summary: This really is an excellent game, if you give it a chance you might find yourself playing through it 3 or 4 times to see all the ways the story can play out. It had excellent story, a lot of different paths you can take (kind of like choose your own adventure), and the main missions don't even have to be done in a certain order, which in itself the order you play the missions can change some elements of the story.

  • Summary: Excellent game from my favorite developer. Like all Obsidian games, it does have a few bugs, but nothing I found to be game breaking.

A diamomnd in the rough on the XBox360

Michael Castleberry, Amazon
3 April 2014
  • Summary: I love, love, LOVE this game. I cannot stress that enough. I'd heard the negative reviews, but, the concept seemed interesting to me, so on a whim, I got the game for cheap and it quickly became one of my top 5 fav games this gen. You assume the role of agent Mike Thorton, new recruit to a top secret government espionage agency, who quickly becomes embroiled in a global conspiracy, fighting for his life and to clear his name.

My Favorite Game Of All Time!!

Nicholas Johnson, Amazon
18 March 2014
  • Summary: Alpha Protocol is hands down my favorite game of all time. It's a spy action rpg and political thriller all rolled into one! Pros: Infinite replayability, engaging dialogue, great action, fun gameplay, memorable characters, and massively entertaining storyline Cons: (I am somewhat biased about this but if I had to choose) Combat takes a bit to warm up to, the story might be confusing to some, and the gameplay is slightly buggy.

Misunderstood Masterpiece

Falconer084, Game Informer
9 November 2013
  • Summary: This review was done on the 360 it can also be brought on the PS3 and PC. Alpha Protocol is an amazing game. Obsidian have taken the best elements of a lot of my favorite games and blended them into a gem every gamer should try. The game has taken the stealth and QCQ from MGS, the dialogue options from Mass Effect, the hacking, lock picking mini-games are a lot like New Vegs, multiple endings and different each time you play through (it's long too), it has GTA4's...

Probably one of the most underrated/undermentioned games ever

David R. Smith, Amazon
23 January 2013
  • Summary: Basically, if you're a fan of Mass Effect's play style, and the spy genre, this is an incredible game. Very open play style, where you can choose to ally or kill different factions/people, customize your gear and weaponry, and overcome situations in a variety of styles, be it with guns, explosives, or stealth.

Michael Swift Ryan "Angel", Amazon
18 November 2012
  • Summary: Hopefully the Goddess helps Sega decide to make a sequel to this game and bring Obsidian in on it again. I believe it is perhaps one of the single under appreciated games I have ever had the pleasure of playing. I want a sequel because I want the story to 'continue' outside of my own imagination. I am rabid about RPG games having a rich player driven action/adventure stories with romance. Where action and dialogue choices define the story as it plays out.
