Summary: Fable is a world where depending on how you play the game will alter your characters look, skills, and the way other characters react to you. You can be good or evil. You can get married. You can even stop at a stream and go fishing. You can really do pretty much anything you want. After four years of hype and big promises, Fable is finally here.
Excerpt: Once upon a time, far far away in the distant land of game development there was a game. Not much was know about this game, just that it went by the name of Project Ego. All that was really known about Project Ego was that it was going to be a Role Playing Game (RPG) that would revolution the genre. This proclaimed revolutionary title would come from the legendary creator and storyteller Peter Molyneux, who if you remember gave gamers God powers in Black & White.
Excerpt: You think you have problems? How would you like to be one of those poor little critters stuck in some testing lab, to be pocked and prodded and god knows what else. Well, here is your opportunity to take on the roll and guide your fury little friends to freedom. Whiplash is a humorous platform adventure that takes you on an interesting romp through a huge industrial lab, where you take on the roll of a lowly squirrel like critter named Spanx.
Conclusion: There is a Vendetta mode available as well. In it, you play as one of four other Darkness-blessed individuals who are given orders by Jackie to help in his overall attack on the main antagonist of the game. This is a co-op play type (though you can go it alone if you want), and it’s pretty fun to play. The four individuals are actually referenced in the storyline as well, though not by their names.

22 September 2009
Excerpt: I have to applaud Atari and Eden for fixing so many of the problems present in previous releases of Alone in the Dark. The new camera system feels more natural for the gameplay style, cars drive smoother (and chase scenes are more forgiving), strafing and first-person speeds have increased considerably, and the new 10-minute gameplay sequence will get your blood pumping.
Excerpt: Alone in the Dark started way back in 1992 on the old PC DOS systems and later spawned sequels on various consoles, from the 3DO to the PS2. This sequel is set in 2008 and sees you play as the hero of the original game, Edward Carnby, who is looking for answers to strange supernatural
Excerpt: I've never played a game that has thrown me in more directions than Alone in the Dark. At times Eden's ambitious survival horror game touches on brilliance, dazzles with blockbuster spectacles and revels in originality. Its problem is that these moments make up a small portion of the game - a game which suffers from almost every longstanding gaming irritant and problem I've written about a thousand times over.
