Summary: The only constructive thing I can think to say is that if you must find out what all the fuss is about, please rent it - you will atleast have the pleasure of giving it back. This is a BAD game, compounded by 1. The missed potential to experience details hinted at by such a rich canon - reccying the colony from interior of a dropship cockpit? Nope. Driving an APC? Nope . You can think of loads too. 2.
Summary: I had hoped after hearing the interviews we would be treated back to the original two alien movies in suspense and atomosphere. Instead I got one really solid level where I felt suspense and and a sense of urgency, then a lot of poor fps from there on out. I would have rated the game at a 5 but the story line fell short way short, the boss fights were awful, you fight humans more than xenomorphs, and it there was nothing really innovative about the game.
Summary: No clipping enemies, redundantly retarded AI, moronic dialogue, this game is no where close to a finished product. This is not the game Gearbox demo'ed, not the game we ere promised, and after less than an hour you lose any will to continue playing.
Summary: They lied to the public and did nothing really to fix it. I bought this for the season pass, but after playing the demo and the game I found a huge difference in the game. With years of development this was greatly disappointing.
Summary: The only good that can come from this game is the multiplayer & the customization. That's it. The rest is just a poor attempt to make a game. The "Aliens: INFESTATION" for the DS is better than this game by a mile and it has lesser graphics/is a side scroller lol. They shoulda got Ubisoft to work on the game...wtf were they thinking getting SEGA for?
Summary: Repetitive gameplay; no joke all you do is shoot aliens and pick up a log and then open a door and then repeat. The graphics are awful and outdated, the story is bland and uninspired, the characters have stupid dialogue.
