    No, Age of Booty is not a slang term for 'age of consent', nor is it a blue movie knock-off of Pirates of the Caribbean. Rather it's a pirate-themed strategy game with a wink-wink, nudge-nudge title available on Xbox Live Arcade. The double entendres end with the title, though, and the game itself is a wholesome exercise in pillage and plunder in which no one gets hurt. Read more

    Simple as it is, Age of Booty is a great way for all kinds of gamers to learn the basics of RTS gameplay. Not only because of its content and its rating (E for Everyone), but because of it's price. At $10, it's likely to be the most accessible real time strategy game out there. Read more

    This level also shows off the slick physics engine, as the drink glasses have flat edges that make them harder to roll. On the other hand, the odd-shaped bottle (think something like a Perrier bottle) wants to roll in a circle rather than straight, so you have to hit it off-center to get it to go where you want.     Age of Booty is perhaps the least complicated Real Time Strategy game you may every play - and it is more the better for it. You take over a single ship sailing on a grid map in an effort to take over a certain amount of cities before your enemies do.     A friend had told me about this new game coming out called Age of Booty. The name is what caught my attention. So the day it came out i tried the demo, and fell in love. later that night i bought the full version, completed the achievements and was instantly hooked.
