Excerpt: The more often I play games on Kinect the more impressed I become. Konami has done a fine job with Adrenalin Misfits. I played an early build at E3 2010, and was impressed. It had some minor issues that I hoped would get corrected. They got corrected, making this one fantastic boarding video game on the Xbox 360. I can't really call Adrenalin Misfits a snowboarding game since it lets you board on surfaces other than snow and ice.
Conclusion: Conclusion: If your here for high TA and good ratios and don't care to much about completion then this is the best kinect title you can find. If you have both PAL and NTSC consoles you just found yourself a easy stackable! (you will need to purchase the DLC twice) whats there not to like? well there is a hell of a lot of jumping around, and you will sweat for the points but no more than any other kinect title.
Snowboarding game that's not as cool as it thinks it is.

Summary: Parents need to know that Adrenalin Misfits is a snowboard simulation game for the Xbox 360 that uses the Kinect motion capture controller. Like other Kinect games, it will get kids off the couch and moving as they play. They won't learn any useful skills should they attempt the real thing, but they will be able to pull off fantasy stunts and tricks here they'd never be able to in the real world.
Excerpt: With the introduction of new gaming technology comes innovation and retrofitting. Any games being made to take advantage of the new Kinect Sensor for XBox 360 are in some ways innovative by default, but we'll have to start asking whether they are innovative because they harness the power of Kinect, or because they do things that would only be possible with Kinect. It may seem like a fine line, but it really isn't.
Excerpt: The Xbox Kinect is an advanced piece of hardware, and it doesn’t seem as though developers and publishers have fully comprehended what Microsoft’s motion-detecting gizmo can do. In some respects it’s like Xbox Live all over again: Microsoft came out with a cool product that’s just a little bit ahead of its time. At least, that’s the vibe you get playing Adrenalin Misfits for Kinect, the first snowboarding-like game for Microsoft’s new motion controller.
Excerpt: Adrenalin Misfits is yet another board based game in the early life of the Kinect. It seems the Kinect has its share of sports based boarding games and Konami has entered the ring with this snowboarding title. Given that the early Kinect games seem really geared to the casual crowd at this juncture, Adrenalin Misfits seems to fit right in.
Excerpt: With the Kinect out on the market for over a month now, there are plenty of potentially good titles to choose from, including Kinect Sports and Dance Central. Unfortunately, the crappy games almost seem to be coming out on a 1-to-1 ratio with the great ones, and among them is Konami’s Adrenalin Misfits, a game that relies more on its extreme sports theme than coherent gameplay. Like Sonic Free Riders before it, Adrenalin Misfits has serious control problems.
Summary: In Adrenalin Misfits, gamers become crossboard-riding monsters that compete with enemy monsters in seven different lands from all around the world including snowy mountains, triple cascades, stormy deserts, limestone caves, glacier lands, hollow caves and volcanoes.
