Summary: Superb graphics, fun story-line, responsive flight controls and awesome additions (like helicopter side-gunner missions). Totally glad this game is in my collection, but you've gotta love being in the cockpit else this game won't be for you. If you enjoy flight simulator games then this one will not disappoint.
Summary: Overall, I honestly think that this game, while not fantastic, is a decent and solid addition to the Ace Combat game series. I will say that there were things that I did like about this game and there were things that really ticked me off. I loved how you could pilot other aircraft besides just fighter planes. I loved the missions where you got to pilot an AH-64 Apache Longbow and just reak havoc on the enemy forces.
Summary: [Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Review - Xbox 360 - 8.0/10] As a somewhat longtime fan of the AC franchise, I found plenty to love in the latest title, Assault Horizon. However, as with many sequels this year, there are a number of changes, and I found them to be hit-or-miss. First of all, let's take a look at what hasn't changed. Ace Combat: Assault Horizon stays true to its predecessors by offering a slick visual presentation and a wide array of aircraft.
Summary: The game wasnt bad and the graphic was nice, but overall I felt like I didnt have as much control over the aircraft as I did in the other games. While the planes are fun and the sound is great I didnt how the controls were set up and the on screen display. While the display helps there wasnt as much information as the other games so I didnt feel as in control and the controls were changed around a bit which didnt make any sense since it was the same series.

Summary: I am a huge Ace Combat fan. One summer, my Grandmother said she would get me a game for the Playstation 2 at her house. I walked into the local used game store and started digging through the bargain bin. Come to think of it, I have no idea why I looked there. But that bin is where I found a copy of Ace Combat 4 for three dollars. Going entirely off the cover art of an exploding plane, I asked my Grandmother to buy it for me.
Summary: i'll be honest with you guys. up until now, i've never played an ace combat game. until this came out, i was playing blazing angels and apache air assault, so i had pretty high expectations. it was pretty awesome, as far as the story, the missions were pretty good, but this is the one fighter pilot game i have played in my life where you can't roll! the helicopter gameplay isn't as smooth as i wanted it to be, either.
Summary: Ace Combat AH is a very different approach than what Bandai-Namco have done in the past. There are a variety of new modes that have not been in Ace Combat games before. Some are very good, such as the AC-130 and B-2 gameplay. Others can be frustrating such as the attack helicopter gameplay. It will take most players a lot of time to become used to this new mode, which still needs some work in my opinion. The fighter gameplay is not what I expected.
