Summary: To those that think you are buying this and think you are playing it like you did on previous games. Youre wrong. The flight dynamics have changed when it comes to taking down targets. This is the Beginning of the End for the Ace Combat Series. Its going downhill.
Summary: I am a big fan of the Ace Combat series. When I saw the trailer for this, I was eager for its release. I preordered it and eagerly awaited its arrival. What a disappointment. This game is horrible. Horrible game play. Graphics are not improved from previous games.
Summary: A genuinely disastrous attempt at a cashing in on 'Call-of-Duty Mania'. The developers really went out of their way to remove the individuality of the Ace Combat series, and created a mediocre, poorly designed game with no heart or personality.
Summary: Don't get this game, it takes no skill to play and is a huge downgrade from p[previous ace combat games. I would recommend getting ace combat 6 it is much better. Hope the game designers go back to their old formula.
Summary: Skip this game. Seriously, it is just an over glorified set of mini-games. The graphics, as good as they are, are not enough to save this travesty from being a waste of money. It was like the developers sat down, decided what made the last three Ace Combat games so good, and then intentionally left...
Pros: Namco seems committed to continuing the Ace Combat series, which is one of my favorites.
Cons: This is the worst Ace Combat by a mile. I'm glad I rented it because I got bored and put the controller down after about 20 minutes of play. I have days of play put into the previous Ace Combat games. Whoever thought that dog fight mode was a good idea should be sucked into a jet engine.
