Summary: This was in my opinion the best Ace Combat they've made. Yes the voice acting (english) hurts, but hey, I didn't buy an audio book. The controls were balanced right, and felt real. That's something that the newest one, Assault Horizon didn't capture. This game felt like a simulator, the newest one, an arcade game. The campaign was lengthy and that's a good thing, because there's nothing else to do after that. Yes there's multiplayer, but no one is playing.
Summary: I just gave this to my 14 yr old for his Birthday and he loves it. He got three others but he keeps playing this one the most. It took him awhile to learn all the controls but now he can land and takeoff like a pro. The combat is not only air to air, but some ground targeting as well. You are given a wingman to help you fight the baddies and he lets you know when the enemy has a lock on you. For once I got it right.
