Summary: I've been a AC fan since it's days with playstation and have played every AC game! I really enjoyed this one on the xbox360 and it reminds me of the previous game on the "other" console. They've made some improvements to the game that make it a more enjoyable game. You get 6 special missiles vs 4 from previous games, the graphics have improved tremendously. The sound efx sound on par with previous games.
Summary: If you like the other Ace combat games you'l enjoy this one. Its a cool game overall, but lacks the large selection of Fighters and cool Camo's we had to unlock. You get a wingman to help but he doesnt do to much. Plus the story and radio chatter gets annoying when they refer to the Dog Fights as "Dancing with the Angles". Its a great thing that you can mute it.
Summary: I once rented this game to test the waters of Xbox Live after a friend of mine told me he had bought it. I loved Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War on the PlayStation 2, and I quickly grew to love this one just as much. Not going to spoil the story here, but suffice to say it hooks you from the beginning. And the Ace Edge flight stick (which, for those wondering, is a retooled Saitek X-45 and an excellent controller) is almost a necessity for playing the game.
Summary: Good game. better than the newest one. All the combat can be done without being forced to go into rinky dinky quicktime events or restrictive modes of play. Namco should consider going back to this games play style in the next one. Just wish that they had provided "new" planes for the dlc instead of rehashes of the ones already provided, but you don't need the dlc to enjoy the game and for that I give all stars.
Great Game for Ace Combat fans, good game for those new to the franchise

Summary: Breath-taking graphics although the ground still looks rather cheaply flatpatterned, etc. the detailing on the planes makes up for it. Gameplay is great, and the learning curve is not too steep - just enough to accommodate anyone from beginners to veterans Additional Content / DLC is quite nice for free ones, though paid ones are considerably better Multiplayer gameplay online is rather problematic but that has more to do with other players - and some game balance...
Summary: Ace Combat 6 surely is not the most realistic game when it comes to ammo capacities, but it is, in my opinion, one of the best flying games yet. It is a video game, so not every aspect of it is going to be realistic (such as ammo as previously listed, and a few of the weapons), but the controls allow you to fly an airplane in a very realistic sense, rather than just tilting an analog stick and the airplane automatically turns for you (though that option is available for...
