Summary: Maybe i suck at this game but i find World cup Germany to leaps and bounds better. FIFA 06 game play is ok but i think the players on the field are idiots and they all stand five feet from me and it makes it easy for the other team to steal the ball.
Summary: This game is Fifa 2006 Road to World Cup and is similar to Fifa 2002 Road to World Cup in that it is a mini game release that EA has been doing recently. Its just about the World Cup so there are no Leagues or career mode only the World Cup play mode.
Conclusion: Grass surface: grass surface looks horrible ... even to the extent of blurring the outlines of the players, making the overall look of the in-game football field undefined and utterly unimpressive. cut-scenes looks excellent with good sharpness though ...
High price, almost no major changes from previous game, not recommended

Summary: I bought this game because I've hoped that I will see some major improvements over EA's previous RTWC soccer title. So much for that. It is almost identical game with new visuals related to World Cup but the gameplay did not change in its majority.
Summary: ok its the basically the same game as fifa rtfwc. its ridiculas. EA whips out darn sports games 20 times a year and ppl still buy them THEY ARE ALL THE SAME. This one still has the horrible AI that Road had and the graphics are not improved.

Summary: FIFA 06 - Road to FIFA World Cup - takes soccer to a new level with XBox 360 quality graphics. It's not as complete as other soccer games out there, though. Soccer is a game that's hugely popular in much of the world - but less so in the US.
Summary: Soccer isn't the American sport. For whatever reason, it's never been the huge craze that football, basketball, or baseball have been in the 'States despite being the biggest and most popular sport everywhere else in the world. Because of that soccer video games are still a big market.
Summary: Who doesn't love a good soccer game? Everyone loves a good one. The problem is this. EA has made a soccer game that is only mildly prettier than last years game, and has dropped many of the great features of the last game.
Goals, thrills, spills and minor glitches the order of the day.

Excerpt: My Purchase. I ordered this game online ages ago when my Xbox 360 was just floundering and even now is no doubt in the console hell for giving me three red flashing lights or what we call the RROD (Red Ring of Death), anyway this game was about £15 back then secondhand and you can now buy it for a...
Pros: All the essence of the 2006 World Cup is here .
