Titanfall Review

29 April 2014
  • Summary: Playing " Titanfall " pretty much always left me with a smile on my face. I’m not great at it, but unlike most other competitive shooters I was always able to leave a positive mark, rack up some decent XP and feel like I was learning something. This is probably the greatest achievement in multiplayer developments since the original Modern Warfare came out and started this whole trend.

  • Conclusion: I've played a lot of the campaign and I still don't know why anything is happening.
  • Pros: Accidentally dashing over an enemy Pilot and gaining some unearned points.
  • Cons: Accidentally being stepped on by an enemy Titan and giving him some unearned points.

BioGamer Girl
14 April 2014
  • Excerpt: Titanfall is the much talked about new release made available for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC from Respawn Entertainment and EA. The game's popularity grew to amazing heights before its release after revealing several unique ideas that is a refreshing breath of fresh air for a first-person shooter genre that always seems to be attempting to catch up to the Call of Duty franchise rather than build their own title for gamers to enjoy.

Test : Titanfall

Generation NT
31 March 2014

  • Summary: Titanfall is definitely a breath of fresh and features a very sturdy gaming engine that is let down by an almost non-existent story.

Titanfall (Xbox One) Review

  • Summary: doesn’t introduce anything groundbreaking to the genre. What it does do is combined the new and old of the genre into a great title that all shooter fans will enjoy. This is a must-have title for Xbox One owners.

  • Excerpt: Titanfall has been years in the making, surrounded by mystery and rumors that have been floating around the internet ever since the highly publicized parting-of-ways with the core members of Infinity Ward and Activision.    For as much as iD Software created the FPS, Infinity Ward pioneered the online multiplayer FPS with their legendary Call of Duty franchise that has pretty much set the standard and template for all online shooters since.
