Summary: " Child of Light " ended up delivering exactly what it promised, and that is nothing short of spectacular. There was a lot of hype for this title and that it didn't dissapoint is perhaps its greatest accomplishment.

Summary: Child of Light is a bright spot in a genre overwhelmed by mediocrity. Beautifully retro, yet modern, and incredibly addicting–Ubisoft Montreal has created a rich world and style that is unlike anything I’ve played before.
Pros: Unique RPG/platforming gameplay that will get you hooked immediately, The game looks and sounds great, The multiplayer functionality is surprisingly fun
Cons: Lack of enemy variety, Occasional performance hiccups
Pros: + Surprisingly deep gameplay, + Charming world, characters, and story, + Great mix of different gameplay ideas, creating a unique whole, + Lots of secrets to find and areas to explore, + Simply beautiful to look at and wonderful to listen to, + Flying around is just so fun
Cons: - May be too simple for some, - The story and characters could have gone deeper, - The first few chapters are a little too slow-paced
