Summary: I had high hopes for the Music Mixer. I was looking forward to being able to download music from my computer and onto my Xbox for soundtracks, maybe make a slideshow, or sing a karaoke song or two. That's not what I received. In the manual, it states that you must download an application to transfer pictures and music from you computer to your Xbox. Unfortunately, the application is no longer supported, so those two things are thrown out.
Summary: I bought this software, an extra microphone, and $300 worth of songs off the internet (to be used with the kareokee feature). I have given it three stars because the $300 is a necessity if you want to make the kareokee feature worth using. There are over 35,000 songs to choose from off the internet and the songs represent a good cross section from rock classics to pop songs to rap. There are songs for everyone. Unfortunately, each song costs $2.00.
Summary: I have read some reviews that were terrible about the Music Mixer. I see it like this: If you want a fun add-on to your xbox for only $40, this is definately worth the money. If you are looking for a high-end karoake machine, this is not it.
Summary: this thing has an option to take the voice off when doing karaoke but it's no good so it's only good for singing to karaoke songs already on there and u can only transfer to the xbox and not back to the computer which really sucks
Summary: The music mixer on X Box allows me to b the freestlye MC I am. If u wanna be a MC or DJ this is one of the best things to get your career on a good start. And did I mention I download music off the internet with this.
