Ehh...

Motnick143 , GameStop
28 April 2011
  • Summary: I had high hopes for the Music Mixer. I was looking forward to being able to download music from my computer and onto my Xbox for soundtracks, maybe make a slideshow, or sing a karaoke song or two. That's not what I received. In the manual, it states that you must download an application to transfer pictures and music from you computer to your Xbox. Unfortunately, the application is no longer supported, so those two things are thrown out.

  • Summary: My little girl loves it, even though it came without a microphone the seller was willing to take back and give a refund as i thought the mic was included.

Expensive and Disapointing

Orome "Aldaron", Amazon
9 January 2005
  • Summary: Terrible in almost every way. Not HD (as claimed), ugly UI, overpriced and poor quality karaoke tracks, difficult to use, and poorly integrated with existing Windows networks. This is a product that cries out for seamless integration with your home music library which the current Xbox deliberately avoids. The few karaoke tracks that are available are overpriced and not what anyone really wants to play with anyway.

Excellent piece of kit, but why the hell XP only?!

Rich, Amazon
2 May 2004
  • Summary: I ordered Music Mixer as I needed a means of transferring my massive collection of LEGAL MP3 files off my PC to my Xbox. I was also interested in the Karaoke element as I could do it in the privacy of my home without making an arse of myself in the middle of a crowded pub.. At least in theory I could do all of the above, I had to send it back when I discovered that in order to do the main thing I bought it for, namely the music transferring, Windows XP was required on my...

The Absolute Worst Karaoke Party Ever !!!

D. Finkenzeller "petrafinkenzeller.com", amazon.co.uk
20 January 2004
  • Summary: If you want a Karaoke machine look elsewhere - the supplied microphone is of poor quality (the Xbox Live headset is better). If you expect great visuals with your Karaoke device look elsewhere - the visuals behind the lyrics are extremely limited, I bought a cheap Karaoke CD+G machine many years ago and that beats the Xbox Music Mixer hands down. If you expect a generous selection of Karaoke songs look elsewhere - there are 15 Karaoke songs supplied.
