Excerpt: I must admit this is one of the better role playing games that I have enjoyed over recent times, it is full of ation, quite challenging with very smooth game play. In this game you choose a team of four however you start playing as Wolverine with the task of saving a new member of the X-Men team Magma. Magneto and his henchmen provide the opposition whilst the X-Men are made up of all the usual suspects.
X-Men Legends is a decent enough game that X-Fans will get a degree of joy from, if far from classic

Excerpt: When it comes to videogame transitions from Comics, few franchises have fared as well as Marvel’s mighty mutants the X-Men. From Konami’s sublime arcade Beat ‘em Up through Sega’s excellent 16-Bit plat formers and Capcom’s masterful X-Men: Children of the Atom, the X-Men have chalked up more impressive games than almost the entire DC Comics roster combined.
Summary: X-men legends is not that bad. It is basically a platform beat 'em up and it does a pretty good job of sticking to the basics. The levels are long and the graphics are not bad; although they are obviously modelled on cartoons and not people. The action itself is exactly what you would expect, enemies arrive, you kill, you move on.
Summary: graphics = nice (cartoony but nice) controls = simple, pick up and play almost gameplay = (below) very, very, very, VERY repetitive. can only play this game for about 30 mins before i get really bored and have to switch to something else. The upgrade system is a bit odd..and the xmen academy is a total waste of time.. unless you're a severe xmen enthusiast. unnecessary amounts of time are spent there.
