Summary: This game is a rip off as it's really slow when moving at times you can't pull off moves when you want to and the characters really look block work nothing more. This game is like Wrestlemania for N64 slow, pitful and not many game modes you can play on too this is a big waste and a let down by all means don't buy.
WWE Raw (Xbox): Raw is not for hardcore wrestling fans
6 April 2010
Summary: WWE Raw was one of the first wrestling games to come out on the Xbox in 2002, The game itself looks good graphics wise the wrestlers look very realistic the face and body detail were flawless and the arena effects amazing, The Roster on the game isn't very impressive, not as big as the one's on smackdown games, you can create superstars using the create mode again it's nothing new to what the other wrestling games offered back in this era The Controls in the game were...
Pros: Looks good great face and body features, harcore matches can be fun
Cons: Lack off options, No storymode, Awful controls, Small roster,
Summary: *** I bought this for the youngster but paid under a tenner when it was on offer on Amazon earlier this year and it is OK I suppose. It isn't the best but it isn't the worst - it's simple enough and worth buying but only if it's cheap.
Summary: WWE Raw is so crap there are barely any matches, it's impossible to win a match & the season is so stupid, the wrestlers barely look what they do in real life (Triple H is pale, Kane has a square head & The Rock looks like Booker T) Never buy this game you would have more fun sitting staring at a wall.
Summary: The game starts off as a regular WWE title with a wwe syle intro but once you get to the menus, do you know - "something's wrong" ! This game is based on the "Press, play and lose" feature. The game is infact quite similar to 'WWF Attitude on PS1' - Slow paced gameplay, Comparitively imppresive Graphics, Difficult to Perform moves! The gameplay of Raw on the Xbox is amazingly Slow paced and you wish you could just "fast-forward" it!
Summary: I dont get it. Every review i have read of this game has given it a terrible score, one was 1.5 out of 10! I tell you now-this game is not that bad! There are moments of minor frustration, but other than that it is a great wrestling game. The rosters are a bit outdated, but that doesnt make this a bad game. Striking moves knock your oppenent down, grapples look great and specials look even better. The graphics are INCREDIBLE and will blow your mind.
Summary: I will start by basically saying do not waste your money on this rubbish. Some people have rated this game as the thinking mans wrestling game where tactics come into it over button bashing. These people are either blind or have obviously never played the game before. Firstly, when you attempt to perform a certain wrestling move such as the suplex you will find your wrestler pulling off a body slam, then when you go to perform a body slam you will pull off a piledriver.
Summary: I had had a ps2 for a year and a half when i got an XBOX i had WWf Smackdown:Just Bring it on PS2. I thought when i bought WWE Raw 2 it would be 10x Better then the PS2 game. It was just the same possibly worse. When i bought it i thought it would be good but it isn't. the movement is too slow the previous WWF Smackdown was alot better. The moves are ok but nothing to gawk at.
Summary: Possibly my most anticipate Xbox title to date, I'd waited an age to get my hands on this after the US had been playing it for months and months. THQ have done the WWE proud with the awesome graphics, shame they couldn't re-write the engine from No Mercy on the N64. The controls suck, and it takes for ever to build up a special, only for your oponent to get straight back on his feet. Dreadful.
