Summary: Recommending Wreckess poses a dilemma. There are so many things about the game that are good, most specifically those things surrounding the graphics. Wreckless contains a beautiful and detailed Hong Kong cityscape and is chock full of special effects. After a mission you can watch a replay that is stunningly realistic. The game is also easy to pick up and lots of fun to play. So what's the problem? Unfortunately, this is not a game that will grip you for hours.
Summary: This game which i was dumb enough to buy, is fun, but if your not a patient person, you'll be thowing your controller into the screen. But those people who are patien and who have major time on there hands, you;ll love this game. The graphics are great, the thing is, as hard as the game was, i wanted to keep playing it because i wanted to get past it. So the replay value is really good.
Summary: ---RENT IT FIRST--- The gameplay is pretty good, flying over jumps and cruising down a highway the going the wrong direction. The problem is that missions are iffy. You are given real 'missions' complete with specific objectives, but you never really find out how you got into the situation in the first place, or why you are trying to, for instance, snap photos of some dude on a yatch.
Summary: It's fun the first few times you play it, but the missions are silly and shallow and don't really inspire sticking with them. The graphics look great in some parts. The controls are touchy and you spin out of control way too easily. I would say rent it first and see if it's really got lasting replay value for you.
Summary: Wreckless is such a hard game to play. With such beautiful, sharp and detailed graphics, you realize quicly that the actual gameplay is boring, repetative and dull. You can literally count the number of varied missions on your hand... you're either required to total an enemy car trying to escape your pursuit, or transfer some chemical to a safe truck. It's ridiculously easy too. Most average gamers can beat this in a weekend, hardcore gamers isn't even worth mentioning.
Summary: Ok, yes, the graphics are *amazing* - get over it. While this game is fun in short doses, the handling of the cars and strict time limits make it very frustrating on some missions. VERY frustrating. The cars only need the slightest touch or bump on the road to totally spin out of control - not great when you have only a few more seconds to reach a checkpoint.
