Summary: The original Xbox is seriously lacking in platformers, with notable exceptions including Psychonauts, the Oddworld games, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, and Blinx: The Time Sweeper. However, Voodoo Vince succesfully fills that void using fun gameplay, wit, and puzzles. As a matter of fact, there is only one other Xbox games that even try to be as funny as Voodoo Vince (Psychonauts, highly reccommended).
Summary: This is a really awesome, funny, crazy, wacky, game. You start out in the Louisiana Square as a voodoo doll that has been zapped by Madame Charmane's magic mojo. And one of her foes finally got his hands on it. You are immediately made out to be the only hope for her. So you decide to set out on a crazy adventure to find her. You venture from Louisiana Square to underground caves/lab, a creepy grave yard, and a Huge Abandoned Mansion.
Summary: Voodo Vince is a fun, great game. I never actually got to finish the game because my xbox broke when I as on the last level. It's pretty simple at the beginning, you learn the basic controls and moves, but near the end of the game, it gets pretty hard. Some levels took me days to finish. The story is that you are a voodoo doll and your creator has been kidnapped. You must go through all these crazy levels, and eventually, you come to find her at this crazy carnival.
Summary: This product arrived quickly and appeared to be in perfect condition. Opened on Christmas Day, it was disappointing to discover it didn't play on our 4gb XBox. Nevertheless, £65 later, after purchasing the all important HDD Drive, we were frustrated to discover that it still won't play. "An update may be available" it advised but when you go on to Microsoft and click 'updates', they don't appear to have heard of 'Voodoo Vince'.
Summary: I still enjoy my platformers, there a dying breed, games like Jak & Daxter with the great humour and who can forget the old classics like Super Mario Bros. I think Voodoo Vince isn't in the category of classic platformer but its fun and funny and has no frustrating levels...so far anyway as i haven't entirely completed it yet!

Summary: Voodoo Vince was the first Xbox game I ever played. From the minute I started playing, I knew I wanted an Xbox. Maybe It's just warm fuzzy nostalgia but, the graphics are great, the levels are kooky and interesting (and a little creepy at times), The music is great and memorable, and the voodoo powers you use are hilarious. If you want a new gaming experience and aren't put off by the game's difficulty level, Voodoo Vince is the way to go.
Excerpt: "Voodoo Vince - Feel his pain! This game can only be found on the X-Box and is one of those games that once played on a friends machine will instantly make you want to go out and buy your own - yes, this is a good game and yes - it is one of the few platform games available on the console. I bought my copy of Voodoo Vince for £19.99 for a brand new copy from Game - this isn't one you will find hanging around in the pre-owned section - everyone who ...
Pros: Awesome gameplay - great graphics - sing a long soundtrack - packed with levels
Excerpt: "...to fill that void with voodoo vince. So how does it compare to the big boys of the platforming genre, like mario and jak? I actually think it is a great platformer/action game. The concept of using voodoo to harm the enemies is a great idea. The presentation of the game is excellent, and the charm of voodoo vince as a character makes him an instant classic in my books. Graphically the game beats out any other in the genre. Characters are detailed, ...
Pros: Great graphics . Innovative ideas . Brilliant boss battles .
Excerpt: "...is possibly due to the voodoo powers. The problem with the game is that it lacks story and the puzzles are pretty simple. If you enjoy simple games then i recommend this for you. This is beep industries debut game release and it isn't bad for an initial game but we have to wait till we can compare it to other games by the industry. I enjoyed the mini games in between as it broke the story up so it gave you a little break from constant story. The game ...
