Excerpt: "XboxTurok Evolution by Rockstar After playing about half the game my feelings are this. When they said “Don’t expect the next Halo” they weren’t joking. If Halo is at the top of the premier league then Turok is at the bottom of the second division. Graphically its nothing out of the ordinary, pretty typical of a PS2 FPS. The problem being that its out of GC and Xbox as well and doesn’t make use of the hardware on offer. Its obvious ...
Summary: This is very unfortunate as the Turok license has so much potential! The good points: Dinosaurs, pretty cool when you try to sneak past a T-Rex, or hold off a swarm of attacking Raptors. Cool weapons- one of the best points, and the only thing that kept me interested at some points. Some of them are truly great and innovative (such as the cerebral bore et al) Flying levels: A very, very clever and cool idea, unfortunately this is ruined by bad execution.
Summary: Turok Evolution, Great Graphics, good concept and most of the time really good game play but one or five stages are just plain stupid for example chapter six back to the sky, 160 times i've been through this level and still haven't done it. Now thats not game play thats just repetitive rubbish and if it was just one level i would'nt grumble but it's not, it's quite a few and now that i've broken my control pad in frustration i can't play any other games.
Summary: To say this game disappoints would be an understatement. The premise of a well thought out, multi-challenge game is here, but it fails to surface. Though a large game, quality is better than quantity, and it has a general feeling that though there are many levels, they have all been rushed. The flying levels receive the award for the largest let-down and though a break from the norm, the game would not suffer having left them out.
Summary: After reading many previews of Turok Evolution I rushed to the shops on release date to buy the game and get ready for some serious dinosaur killing. After placing Turok in my XBOX, I started a new game preparing myself for the 'groundbreaking graphics', 'improved AI' and 'lush open area jungles'. Unfortunately I found none of these to be true. The graphics were average at best, but believing this was because the game is a mulitplatform title I ignored it.
Summary: Great graphics.. great looking monsters.. excellent weapons (most of them).. but the control of the character, story line and the flying just planly stinks and that is sad. This game should have gone through a few more level of play testing before it was released. Seems like the programmers did all the beta testing on this one. The controls are jumpy and you never really get the feel of it. The jumping is hopeless compared to what it could have been.
TurokEvolution:viel schlechter als seine Vorgänger

Summary: Hallo liebe Leserschaft !!!
