Excerpt: "...like ssx and tony hawks. Transworld Surf, easily the most graphically impressive and by large most enjoyable surfing game to be released yet. Though it uses several conventions laid down by both Tony Hawk and SSX, Transworld Surf offers a unique gameplay experience. Summary: If, like me, you like challanging games with lots of stuff to unlock, and are tired of the usual sports games, this game is made for you. I've read a couple of other reviews, where people make stupid claims like "every wave is the same" and "this game is boring" etc. Well, if you actually spend a little more than five minutes on this game, you'll realize that each wave is different and should be approached differently (eg.
Summary: The graphics on this game are awesome, the water effects are very nice indeed (which I guess is a good job in a surfing game). The problem is that the game lacks in almost every other department. The game is slow moving a repetitive and each level has a same as before feel to it. Summary: I love this game ! Once you've learnt the basics eg.landing, it is much more enjoyable, there are lots of different trick combos, and it does feel as realistic as its ever going to without getting your feet wet ! I found it similar to Ecco in that it is quite a relaxing game to play and a welcome relief from the intensity of other x-box games such as Halo and Gotham city
Summary: Ever had that feeling of deja vu? If not you soon will when you have a go at Transworld Surf. Not suprising really - after all, how much can each level vary when there all made entirely from water? Just how different can each wave look from the last? The obvious and only answer is not very, which means Transworld Surf quickly becomes very boring and repetitive.
