Top Spin Reader Review - 9.7

  • Conclusion: So it's another tennis game....what could this game achieve that the Virtua Tennis franchise couldn't achieve? Quite a lot actually. When I picked up the controller and got into my first Exhibition match with Sampras and Hewitt, I realised that some serious motion capture work must have gone into the game. Everything from the eloquent slice to the brute overhead smash was captured perfectly.

  • Conclusion: This is without a doubt the best tennis game ever made. Argueably one of the best games on the xbox console. Excellent graphics which rival those of halo 2 and splinter cell. Gameplay is really good. Career mode is really fun and you can fully customize your player. You can fully sculp his/her face and body, choose what they wear and their hairstyle and all that stuff. The ability to pick up sponsers in career mode is cool and the star upgrades are cool.
