Conclusion: So it's another tennis game....what could this game achieve that the Virtua Tennis franchise couldn't achieve? Quite a lot actually. When I picked up the controller and got into my first Exhibition match with Sampras and Hewitt, I realised that some serious motion capture work must have gone into the game. Everything from the eloquent slice to the brute overhead smash was captured perfectly.
Conclusion: This is without a doubt the best tennis game ever made. Argueably one of the best games on the xbox console. Excellent graphics which rival those of halo 2 and splinter cell. Gameplay is really good. Career mode is really fun and you can fully customize your player. You can fully sculp his/her face and body, choose what they wear and their hairstyle and all that stuff. The ability to pick up sponsers in career mode is cool and the star upgrades are cool.
Conclusion: This is the game I play most, in my opinion the greatest tennis game on the planet, you can do pretty much any shot that you can in real tennis, the career mode is addictive and long, you can even design your player to look exactly like yourself, even down to adjustment of chin, cheeks, forehead, hair style colour etc...etc...

You can even improve your character by training him with the coaches in all countries and even get a company to sponser you. Summary: I recieved my Top Spin game not so long ago from 'zoverstocks' and then discovered when I put the disc in(it had a good few scratches)and the game started up but kept freezing every 30 seconds even though I got a refund I'm still very disappointed that the game wasn't at least tested before it was shipped.

Summary: I am a heavy gamer and a tennis player, so every time a tennis game is made i feel i have to try it. To be honest apart from Smash Court i have found them all very arcade-game like and no realism to the physics and feel to the game. Top Spin was a pleasant surprise. The graphics are not amazing but to be honest they dont need to be, how fluffy can a yellow ball be?? You start your career as a nobody, no skills, rubbish clothes etc.
Summary: A fantastically enjoyable game. Will definitely be the prescription to a tennis bug. Very satisfying. Just not perfect yet. A 5 star game has to be one that you play everytime. You don't need any other games if you have a 5 star game.
