Summary: Tony Hawk. Not the game, the acual person. Im telling you that guy is such a nerd. After playing the original Tony Hawks Pro Skater i was hooked. I swear i played the demo over a hundred times, But i was disaponted when the 3rd in the series came out. After playing the first one i got hooked on skateboarding, unfortunatly (much like other nerds) i sucked at it.
Summary: I am a PS2 owner, but have one freind who has an XBox. I have Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 for PS2, and I recently played it for XBOX. On PS2 it gets a deffinite five stars, and on XBOX a 3. Why? The game is alsmost the EXCACT same. XBOX gets a 2. Why? The games that come out are 98% of the time COPOUTS of PS2 games. Can Bill Gates and his billion dollar industry come up with some friggin originality?
Summary: Well, this game has great graphics and level structures but why';d they take away the Heelflip Darkslide? I'd rather play number 2, only cause it has the better set of moves for your Create a Skater. Overall, the game is good but for the moves, uh-oh. (the only good move is thr cannonball but again, why'd they take away the Heelflip Darkslide?
Summary: I purchased this game once took it home and it didnt have a instruction booklet, so I took it back and got one that did(no problem). I take the game to a friends house and played it on his Xbox. Graphics are great, and it is fun to play a game where it is actually close to real life toughness (I mean it took Tony Hawk over 6 years to pull of a 900 and then the landing was still sketchy). Its good not to see 1390s and 45873s pulled off with ease.
Summary: Okay, so graphically this blows THPS2x out of the water. But you need more than that. The controls are so tight, and a little TOO realistic. Remember in 2x when you did your first 1080, and you got SO excited? That's how you feel the first time you land your 540s successfully, here. If you're used to 2x, you have to expect a WHOLE new game. If you missed 2x, then you'll blow away everyone who didn't.
