Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
28 April 2005
Conclusion: Obviously this is the best Splinter Cell to date but I've got to tell you I never expected this, everything has been completely updated. It's the best looking game I've seen, and I've seen them all. The controls are perfect and feel natural. Believe me you will love this game, there are loads of feel-good moments, such as grabbing a guy from behind, breaking his neck while stabbing him in the back and then shoving him head-first down some metal stairs, hearing his bones...
Don't expect Halo or Call of Duty shooting, but expect the same amount of fun.

Excerpt: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory was the first Splinter Cell video game I had every played, so I really did not have any clue what to expect from it. After playing it a couple times and getting familiar with the controls, I found it to be unlike any game I had ever played before. If you are looking for a guns blazing, "shoot what moves and sometimes what doesn't" type of game, look elsewhere. This is a STEALTH game.
Excerpt: Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is the third installment in the series. Again, you play as Sam Fisher, a veteran splinter cell who simply does not exist to the real world. You are part of Third Echelon, who are a secret service and protect America behind the scenes. As an agent, you get many weapons and gadgets at your disposal such as sticky shockers, air foil rounds, silencers, pistols, SC-20K and more.
Excerpt: Wow. I played the first splinter cell one the Xbox and I was hooked. Then the second came out and they introduced multi player. I didn't know where to look! Then they released this. What could I do? Well, first I forced myself not to play multi player. I just had too. Just so that I didn't feel I was missing out on anything and what a dream to play it was. Splinter Cell, based on fiction by Tom Clancy has always been a game about stealth. In theory (geddit? Theory?
THIS GAME ISNT A CHAOS THEORY! ITS A ARSESMACKING THEORY!

Summary: Splintercell is the best! Ever since i got it its been a greaat challenge and im only on level 4! but i still like it! if you think that splinter cell gets boring, then go to youtube and type "splinter cell bob and steve" and you will find the funniest splintercell movies your arse has ever seen!
Summary: Here we have another superb installment from the Splinter Cell franchise. This whole series, I find, is the sort of thing you will either absolutely love, or just not like at all. For me it is the former for sure! Here we have, basically, "more of the same" as in the previous games, only much improved AI when it comes to your enemies and environment; far bigger levels; more complex riddles and puzzles.
Excerpt: This must be one of the best games that I have played in the past few months and would probably make my top ten list if I could be bothered to write one. Once again for those who have played pervious versions of Splinter Cell you take on the role of Sam Fisher, the secret American agent whose role it is to do the dirty jobs no one else wants to do.
Summary: Right, lets start off with the improvements. This is a much improved game over the embarrasingly bad by comparison SC:PT. Developed by the team that did SC1, this is more of a sequel to the original the SC:PT. The graphics have been improved yet again, and the visual details are spectacular, as are the sounds. There are still the usuall pithy quips and jokes from the people you are fighting, and the game is enjoyable.
