Not realistic but multiplayer excellent

  • Summary: This game is purely not realistic. Yes all the glossy weapons and gear look authentic enough but the gameplay is terrible. I'm moving, in the prone position (lying down), moving slowly in a dense wood at night. The enemy is a good 30m away and all of a sudden they start shooting, not only shooting but hitting me!! What is this game on? The enemy don't even have fancy guns or night vision how can they possibly see me. Secondly the nemy troops are as good as you.

No improvement on GR

  • Summary: Moving from FPS to TPS should have told me in advance that I was not going to enjoy this. The graphics are so much better than GR it defies belief: water is rendered beautifully. But, and it's a big but, the gameplay is much inferior. Gone is the game where the wind roars in your ears as you nervously approach an enemy checkpoint, your heart beating so fast you can hardly credit it, and you literally jump when you're hit by an enemy you haven't seen.

Nice eye-candy, but tactically not a patch on GR and GR:IT

  • Summary: THE PROS: +The graphics are simply gorgeous - especially the way water and grass are rendered. THE CONS: -The main problem is that the gameplay is agonisingly and unnecessarily difficult: it is near impossible to ambush the enemy as they almost always see you first. Unlike in GR and GR:IT, I simply cannot work out how to sneak around the map without attracting the attention of every enemy unit within miles.
