Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: If you can’t tell already from reading through this review, Pandora Tomorrow is an incredible game and the best overall Xbox title I’ve played this year. Coming from someone that gave Ninja Gaiden a 9.6, that’s saying something. Every single aspect of the original game has been improved upon: the story, the interface, the gameplay, visuals, so on and so on.

  • Summary: Taking stealth-action to the next level, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow from Ubisoft on the Xbox takes players deeper undercover than ever before. Pandora Tomorrow enhances the original game's amazing graphics with even more real-world detail with amazing light-sourcing and shadow effects evident throughout with new techniques that make the gameplay even more realistic.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow

Xbox-Hq.Com
27 April 2004
  • Excerpt: Upon catching a glimpse of the first beautifully rendered setting -- the ocean crushing up against the beach, the dock creaking with your every tiptoe, grass rustling with each brush-by -- you'll be intrigued. After you pick your first lock, you'll be thoroughly enthused. But it's not until you engage in shadow games with the very first terrorist -- sneaking from dark blotch to darker shadow -- that you'll be insatiably enthralled.

Game Over Online
15 April 2004
  • Excerpt: Pandora Tomorrow , on the other hand, might as well be a different game. It's a textbook example of how to do a sequel right : keep what worked, jettison what didn't, and streamline the rest. A lot of the time, a sequel winds up feeling more like an expansion pack than a new game in its own right, and such is not the case here. The original Splinter Cell never really impressed me much. I couldn't tell you exactly why, either, I just wasn't a big fan.
