Summary: Toca Race Driver 2 is a great game. It features so many different racing types and is a real blast to play, especially on Live! Don't listen to the moron who's moaning down below, how many other games have you played that are completely unlocked out of the box? You start off racing the Ford GT and can pick cool cars such as the Mustang, souped up Ferrari's, Mercs and NASCAR style racers. This game is graphically stunning and handles great too.
Summary: This game is so easy to get into. It has a story line of you and two other people trying to get money and trying to get you into the shark racing. It gets harder as you go through the game making sure you get glued to it. Lots of different cars and once you have won a championship in a spacific car you can race them in free race. when you get close to the end of the game you end up with a whole list of cars you can race. The best thing about this game is the graphics.
Summary: This game is the most realistic driving game i have come accross, much more believeble than PGR2. The gameplay is very addictive and i never tired of playing it (having owned it for 2 months now). I think this is due to the many different types of racing available in the game. One of the best features of the game is the optional setup of the car in each class with the user able to customise suspension, tyres, gears (of which own ratios can be made), anti-roll bar along...
Summary: As with the first race driver game for our beloved Xbox, the career mode is a bit hit and miss. Some championships are great, others not so good. I know they are trying to cater for all tastes, and on the the whole it works well, but remember that old saying....jack of all trades..... Take this game onto xbox live though and WOW..
Summary: Toca 2 is the Ultimate racer to date and it will take some beating. The speed is awesome, the graphics top notch, the AI is superb and the amount of different championships and races make for a great difficulty curve. The cars themselves are amazingly detailed and the handling is as close as you will get to the real thing. Forget Grand Turismo, get Toca 2 and experience the drive of your life.
Summary: Half way between a simulator and an arcade racer we have TOCA Race Driver 2. Lots of cars, tracks and types of racing offer although a total lack of TOCA Touring Cars which is odd given the title. Great graphics, sound, no real complaints and the storyline aspect has been given a total makeover and is much improved since TOCA 1. The vehicle handling is absolutely spot on and just what I expected although there isn't much difference between the types of racing.
Summary: BEEP BEEP move out the way GT3 and GT4 so much for photoshot backgroundson GT4 half a tree and no other side call that photoshot Toca race driver2 has proper photo shot backgrounds (decent ones) tip to sony make someproper games that will actually challenge microsoft in the game market myopinion is that sony are going DDDDDDDDDOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNN andMicrosoft are going up up into the world of realistic gaming also welldone to the makers of Toca RD2.
Summary: Where to begin! this game is an amazing game. the graphics are superb, itfeels awesome and it has so much depth with all the different types ofracing involved. it would have been easy for codemasters to produce anoffering for race driver 2 that was basicly the same generic game as theoriginal race driver but with a few extra cars and tracks and slightlyimproved graphics but no, this game appears to have been developed awayfrom anything to do with the original.
