Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2005
21 September 2004
Excerpt: It's no secret to anyone who follows the PGA Tour: Tiger Woods is not the dominant force he used to be. Some attribute it to his upcoming marriage, some say the field is catching up to him, some say that he's simply in a long slump.
Conclusion: Musically the game seems to have found the right sort of thing for me, a set of tunes by a BT (never heard of them), their music is reminiscent of Jan Hammer or Harold Faltermeyer and it suits the game's arcadier moments perfectly - certainly much better than the strange mixtures of previous years.
Pros: Still plays a cracking game of golf (as long as you don't want a challenge)., Loads of courses and players and gameplay modes., A slightly more complete control system., Looks slightly nicer., The EA ‘Game Face’ player and swing editor are great., Excellent ball physics.
Cons: Way too easy for experienced TW players., Still has a frustrating accuracy issue with some short shots., Most of the courses and players were in last year’s game., Some poor camera work., No Xbox Live support.
