Summary: Discovered on a communal Xbox at work. Played amongst 7 or 8 blokes and you have to fight to play the game! The graphics are decent enough but the ball following camera is rubbish sometimes. The game play works for me and is fairly intuitive. The time traveling bit is a bit weird but you can ignore it if you like. The difficulty level is configurable with differing fairway bounce, luck, Tiger Woods the course (more bunkers, trees etc). I like it.
Summary: With the exception of the first release, the Tiger Woods series have always been high quality, enthralling games that keep you entertained for months. I'm so disappointed with this release - it's as if minimal effort has been put into its conception. The courses are identical to previous games, making it ridiculously easy to get into. Birdies and eagles are achieved very early in the game making the game much less challenging.
Summary: If you already own a relatively recent version of Tiger Woods golf then you will know broadly what to expect from this new release. The changes from 2005 are readily summarised: 1. online XBox Live play has now come to Europe, but I should say that so far I have never seen anyone else available to challenge when I have logged on.
Summary: I have owned the past two Tiger Woods games on the X-Box so I am well versed in the franchise. The biggest bug bear I had with the last version (2005) was that it wasn’t different enough from the previous version. It is tough for a golf game to change too much, I mean it is a golf game right? Well yes, but it isn’t enough to churn out the same old game with bells on, thankfully this time EA Sports has avoided this.
Summary: This game is good, very good in fact. If you have played previous versions of Tiger Woods then you will know what to expect. The swing system is the best around & the putting has been up-graded to the same system which is a nice touch, the game has plenty of depth & there are plently of challanges ahead. The complaint in the past is that each yeat has been very similar to the last but i beleive there is enough new content here to keep people coming back for more.
Summary: First of all let me say that I like the Tiger Woods games alot, the only reservation being that they are too easy. The new version has some decent changes mostly to the presentation, particularly with the new rivals mode. Also the way you take a shot has changed. You can apply spin or fade with the right stick. I like this change, it suits me. The putting has changed as well. You now have an ideal aim camers which shows you how you should aim to get it down.
