Not bad but not great

Jon, Amazon
6 March 2013
  • Summary: This game is ok for sims fans though I found that it had very little to do and you can only seem to follow an pre written story line rather than creating your own families. Not a great amount of decorations for housing or appliences for the household.

Good for a while then a little boring.

Revier, Dooyoo

  • Excerpt: Maxis has long been recognised as a company that excels in producing Sim games, from creating and running huge cities ala the sim city series or an altogether smaller affair, like 'The Sime'. The Sims could probably be best described as a life simulator, the player must create a household of happy and succesful Sims, this objective is multi faceted, balance your Sims love lives, working careers and general happiness to create the perfect family (or if your so inclined...

Good game for its time

  • Excerpt: Everyone would like to be god, controlling your sims and having fun with them. Loads of people would agree to the sims being one of the better games for your computer, you can spend hours and hours on this game and have a really great time. On the Sims you have to create a family, this means you decide how your sim/s appearance will be like, you also decide what their personality is like which will reflect in their behaviour, you also have to decide what clothes and...

The Sims Xbox

8 February 2006
  • Excerpt: The Sims debuted on the PC about three years ago and was met with great sales. People - even folks who don't normally play games - dug it for its non-linear gameplay and all of the neat things you can do. Granted, the game had its share of problems, but the game continued to sell amazingly. Seeing this, the developers set to work on a number of expansions; there are at least four available currently. There's even an online version of the game!
  • Pros: its on a console
  • Cons: not as easy to control as pc

Make a sims dream become reality or a nightmare!

  • Excerpt: I... a long loving fan of the sims on the PC, bought an XBOX. I was also given the SIMS as a present... I put it in, and all of a sudden I thought great... creating my sim was easy, giving them clothes was one of the best things ever. My SIM looked perfect but as soon as I started to play the graphics were complicated, On the PC it was so much easier, and it seemed like you could do a lot more.
  • Pros: You can make yourself a sim and become whoever you want to be
  • Cons: The graphics are a lot different to what I'm used to .  .  .

Okay

  • Summary: When i bought the sims i thought it would be a better upgraded version from the pc version. the graphics are great and it runs smoothly. but there isn't much to do. you build a house, furnish it, get a job if you want, make some friends... then what? I am a big fan of the sims, but its not that much different from the original. so if youre thinking of buying this and you also so have the pc version, don't bother.

  • Excerpt: Finally the great PC game The Sims has hit the Xbox games console. the game was expensive but being a big sim fan i was willing to pay out, when i finally got home and placed the game in the Xbox i wasnt disappointed. this game is better than the PC version it gives a "get a life" option where the object is to complete many goals including "get a job" "get promotions" "get married" "have kids" "keep the kids in school".
  • Pros: FUN, PASSES TIME
  • Cons: CAN BE FRUSTRATING , ADDICTIVE

Lo and behold they did, my other half would be so pleased, exactly the game he was looking for and at the bargain price of £15.99. But soft, what light from yonder Xbox game breaks, It is the price, and Juliet is the 2 for £25 sticker on the front Arise fair maiden and search for another game That you will be able to play on your own.
