   Sims 2 is an all right game if you like going around collecting items, and going through goal-oriented gameplay. It is presented well, but it has some gameplay, and computer intelligence issues that might hinder your experience. If you already have the game for PC then doesn’t worry about buying this one, otherwise rent before you buy. Read more

   If you're looking to get the PC version of The Sims 2 on your console then you're going to be disappointed but what you do get is a solid The Sims game that offers classic sims gameplay with additions, tweaks and improvements. If you have a PC then go for that version but if not and you're a fan of The Sims then this console port is definitely you best option.    One more complaint, if you'll indulge me, is the complete lack of faith or spirituality in the game. It seems to me that adding Church on Sundays, Yoga, Buddhist meditation, etc., as an alternative way to fill your Comfort or Social stats would be a positive thing for the game and something gamers of faith would enjoy (and wouldn't offend anyone).    The graphics are a great improvement on the first game, and the 360 degree camera rotation feature is stunning (compared to the 4 camera angles in the original Sims game). The Sim‘s listen to your orders more in this game, and use more autonomy (i.e. they will answer the phone most times without you having to tell them to… or attend to the baby instead of ignoring it).
