The Punisher is, without a doubt, a guilty pleasure. The gruesome effects of enemies being interrogated actually made it difficult to play sometimes. Violent video games are okay but The Punisher takes it to the level of 'Manhunt' type violence. If you are squeamish at all steer clear of this game completely, otherwise you may find yourself smiling with glee as you lower a drill bit into some unlucky sap's temple. Read more
That’s pretty much all there is to the game, but it’s done so well I love it! The more people you kill the more you score, the more you kill without taking a bullet yourself the higher your combat multiplier goes up. This rewards you with “style” points – the more you get the more you are rewarded. These rewards can allow you to buy upgrades so that later levels become a little easier and also open up extra play modes – such as CHALLENGE or PUNISHMENT.... Read more
The Amazing Spider-Man #129, featuring the first appearance of Frank Castle aka The Punisher was one of those issues that always eluded me during my comic collecting phase. It was always just out of my price range sitting around the $250 mark. I could easily buy it now even though it's gone up in price from there, but I have gotten used to the idea of not owning it. Compared to the character who has evolved into one of the most violent anti-heroes of our generation, the... Read more
Of course, if you're a fan of the comic book (on which the game is based, not the recent movie) it'll probably have more of an emotional impact for you. If, like me, your last taste of The Punisher came when Dolph Lundgren snapped necks back in the early nineties, the game sticks out as an entertaining, but short third-person adventure, driven by the need to see ever gruesome deaths in different environments. If that makes us bad people, sue us. The Punisher needs his... Read more
As a child, I was a big fan of "The Punisher" comic book series, when a motion picture title with Thomas Jane as The Punisher was announced, I wasn't too sure what to expect, and now with a game based on the same name, I was feeling a mixed bag of reactions. Thankfully, I wasn't extremely hyped about the game which made it that much easier to be disappointed by it when I played it. Read more
This is a great game, needs a sequel though. I was well narked that the interrogations were toned down, as the game is an 18's and adults can decide for themselves. ... Read more

The Punisher video game is a great game for anyone who enjoys killing people and having their blood coat the ground. The gameplay is as good as xbox gets and is easy to learn. Read more
Fun: The punisher is a brilliant game and it is hard to pick holes in it, the gameplay is solid, the graphics are good for a xbox game, and the game is riddled with gore(the best bit :D). The best part of the game has to be the executions which are executed very well and some are inginuative, be it the electric eels or the Rhino, the only problem with these is the black and white sensoring colour of the screen which allowed it to be release but if your a gore fan like me...
