Conclusion: Hats-off to the level design and character teams for asthetics. The game 'looks' great. And to the producers--It's definately high-action and well balanced. (accept for a few bottle-necked areas) Unfortunately over-all I would give this game a 3 (on a scale of 1-10). why? Well first of all I did not buy this game to watch the movie AGAIN.

Conclusion: Well when you first play this your like ya im playing a movie here the cutscences got good timing. Well its funny to wield a sword and kill so many orcs that outnumber you like at least 30/2. Pushing lava on orcs is funny. Shooting arrows is fun. Defending people is not. The worst level ever is when you have to let 200 woman run into the city without dying while tons of orcs and TROLLS are murdering everyone and you. Dont worry you have 1 soldier pssh.

Summary: This is one for lord of the rings fans everywhere. Although the game is not of the highest level of graphics compared to modern standards, there is a wide range of characters that you can play as and you can follow the story line easily. Played this many times and still enjoy it, so many hours of fun to be had here. Defiantly worth the money!
Excerpt: "...cash in and strike while the iron is hot that the end product is a major disappointment and fails to live up to the hype. Fortunately this is not the case with this game. This is a pretty good fighting game that comes under the hack and slash genre even if it does lack a bit slightly in substance and could do with being a bit longer, unlike the films which were bum numbing in their length. The fighting action in this game is pretty good and while ...
