The Italian Job Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: I’ll admit it—I’m sick of movie games. The developers and publishers are unrelenting! Game after game after game after game, and it wouldn’t be so bad if only so many of the games didn’t just TOTALLY suck. I can, say, however, that the Italian Job is a bit of fresh air. The game plays pretty decently, looks polished, and sounds just fine. Fans of the movie would love the action in this game, and casual gamers would love the length of the missions.

Italian Job, The

The Armchair Empire
7 September 2003
  • Conclusion: cardboard and the setting looks absolutely miserable, making the gaming experience nothing like the movie experience. The missions, 15 of them, all rotate around the same “Crazy Taxi” method that has been reapplied to numerous games, but never feels the same. The Italian Job creates a poor interface of time management and repetitive missions of driving from point A to point B. After a half hour, you’ll find yourself bored of the boredom.
