The Hobbit

swapgame

  • Conclusion: Unfortuneately, this isn't my type of game. The graphics look like they should really be from a GBA, this really is a game for the young ones I think. I would have liked to say it was a bit of a hack and slash fest put I could only play it for about a minute before reaching for the off button.

Love this for nostalgia sake!

  • Summary: When my daughter was still yet to be born, I remember playing this game, feeling her kick and move about inside my tummy! I loved this game back then I love the trolls and their accents :) Am a huge LOTR fan anyway and I love all games to do with it. I still like playing it now just for the memories it brings back!

The Hobbit

Conor Hammersley, Amazon
13 October 2005
  • Summary: One day the Halfling hobbits will rule the Earth. I mean, think about it. They are awfully smart, too intelligent for their own good. They can see and hear things a mile away. And they can go invisible before your eyes. Or at least Bilbo Baggins can. And in the Hobbit you can step into the shoes of the Burglar...Or at least if those little Hobbits had to wear shoes on their leathery soles of theirs. Go around with the Ring, a walking stick and Sting the elvish blade.

The Hobbit

J. P. Taylor "jpt8", Amazon
3 December 2004
  • Summary: I've enjoyed the book for many years and having the chance to play through the story was an exciting opportunity. Graphically The Hobbit is farily average. Everything at the start is brightly coloured and later the game becomes darker. What makes it extremely frustrating to play is the awkward camera.
