Summary: Well I must say I was pleasently surprised with this game. I seem to recall that most of the reviews by professional reviewers in games magazines upon it's release giving it very low-medium scores at best. I think this was a little bit harsh because it is a very early original Xbox title (2003)and it's biggest flaw is, to me, giving the player a restricted number of lives before having to start the level all over again (most of the levels are not too big though).
A fun game - better than most other reviews say it is.

Summary: In this game - the official one of the movie - you get to play as the Terminator (a T-850, as portrayed by Schwarzenegger in the film). It's a 'first-person' shooter, with - for the most part - a free roaming environment. The story is simple: in the year 2032 you're reprogrammed by the human fighters, and you're mission is to make your way into Skynet and find the time-travel equipment. Then, sent back to 2003, you must protect John Connor from the TX.
Summary: This game isn't as bad as people make out it to be. It's great from the start. You start of in the future doing many missions and then you get sent back to 2003 and thats sort of where the story of the movie starts. Tip: Don't read a bad review about this game again. It's great fun and has hours of game play. Once you start it is really hard to stop. BE ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER, BE THE TERMINATOR.

Summary: Unlike many others, I enjoyed the third Terminator film and was looking forward to playing the game. A fantastic demo starts the game with an extension of the film's storyline; this is a stunning sight, with great energy and amazing graphics, and then you play the game.......The controls are terrible, the action is repetitive and even the sound effects are annoying. Included on the disc is a demo of the next game titled 'Terminator 3: Redemption'.
Summary: After seeing the movie i was generally looking forward to playing rise of the machines on christmas day of course i didnt expect to complete the game within a few hours of opening it from its christmas rapping papper its pathetic the movie was a dissapointment and the game is worse i cant believe the magazine ratings 8/10 what are the testers on atari have streched out every fighting scene in the movie to its limit most of the levels were never in the movie.
Summary: I completed this game after 2hours 30mins(shorter than the movie,The graphics are okish, you see more footage than you do playing the game. The fight scenes are laughable.slow and sluggish, why this has a high rating is beyond me.If you like the movie buy the dvd you will have more fun!!!trust me do not shell out£40 for it.
Summary: this game is one of atari's best work. If u r a fan of a hard action game i recomend that u buy this game as it will give hours of gaming fun even if u are not a fan of the film u will like this as it is a far better game that terminator dawn of fate wicth i also thought was a great game the game play controls are also a improvment and reseble those of doom with lots of different weapons to chose from, the grafics are great and will not let a fan of x box games down.
